My name is Sheena Leugers and I’m the Owner and Director of Human Resources for AnCor HR.
Through my nearly 15 years as a Human Resources professional, I’ve progressed into my current role. Over the past three years, I’ve been the HR director of up to nearly a dozen organizations simultaneously. Prior to that I worked as a specialist in staffing, benefits, safety, worker’s compensation, leave administration, payroll, unemployment, employee coaching and development, and more.
Not only do I have experience in all areas of Human Resources and hold my SHRM-SCP certification, I also have several years of involvement in many different industries such as manufacturing (in both union and non-union environments), non-profits, funeral services, and human service-focused companies.
I have appreciated the opportunity to be the HR director for so many companies in my role as a consultant. I enjoy the challenge that each phone call or email brings where I must quickly switch my thoughts to match the culture and current happenings of that particular business. I also love that I get to be involved in so many aspects of our community because of the diverse clientele I have the honor of working with.
